"Apple Festival to Celebrate 30 Years" Every second weekend in October since 1978 the Chamber of Commerce has been celebrating the Annual Apple Festival. This years event will take place on October 11th and12th, 2008. Opening ceremonies will begin on Saturday the 12th at the main stage, located on Church Street, across from the Post Office. The committee is gearing up to make this years 30th a very special year. If you know of someone who has been a part of the Apple Festival within the last 30 years, please can the office. We are trying to contact all Royalty, Grand Marshalls and anyone that might have interesting facts to share with us. The committee is trying to put together memorabila to display at this years Anniversary. Please mark your calendars now to attend this specical 30th Anniversary!! |
